so, EP4 is running behind, as you may know... and the reason is: I burnt myself out a little bit trying to rigidly schedule creative things to hit an arbitrary deadline. lessons learned: don't ever do this if you don't have shareholders pointing real guns at you. especially don't be hard on yourself about it if you're wearing all the hats and are the main source of forward movement!!
it's like yelling at your oven for taking too long to make your precious baked rigatoni. but also you are the oven. and the rigatoni is for you but you're gonna share it because you're an oven and you can't really eat it. I got too extrinsic on an intrinsic type project, if you know what I mean
still very happy with what we've made so far, it just ended up taking me like the entirety of July to get a full draft I was happy with, which was VERY necessary given what's to come, just way longer than I expected
The Works is well into recovery mode and it's all good now, but I probably won't be giving my "subject to change" type time estimates again cause they always end up being totally wrong. they also just end up stressing me out, cause even I take them too seriously! probably real dates only from now on 🩻 which is also to say, there isn't a new one yet. but I'm corru.workin on it
